While addressing a function on the occasion of International Human Rights day in Islamabad, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said that United Nations (UN) charter allows every nation the right to self-determination.
The minister said Pakistan has been reminding India about it human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He said Pakistan and India are bound to fulfil their promises made with the UN to protect human rights.
Rashid said UN in its resolutions has accepted Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his address to the UN had forcefully highlighted the Kashmir issue.
