Saddam Chowk in Karak gave a view of a battlefield Wednesday when the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police beat up the protesters who had come out on the roads to demonstrate against gas outages.

Accusing the protesters of attacking the transmission line, the police also arrested as many as 34 people including Khattak Ittehad’s president.

The entry and exit points of the city were blocked while Frontier Corps (FC) officials were also called and the city remained closed for the fourth day as well.
