The Crime Investigation Department (CID) Thursday claimed to have arrested five al Qaeda activists, including a local leader from Old Haji Camp area.
According to a CID official, a local leader of al Qaeda identified as Asad Ali along with his four companions were arrested from Lakri Gali area of Old Haji Camp.
The official said that 10 kilogrammes of explosives, two rifles and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the accused.
