Three more precious lives lost in drought-hit Tharparkar due to malnutrition on Thursday.
The three children who died on early Thursday were admitted to Civil Hospital Mithi. The death toll in the last two months in desert region of Sindh had climbed to 174.
The change in weather pattern with winter season setting in has also added to the miseries of Tharparkar denizens. Local authorities fear further rise in deaths if the immediate steps are not taken to protect the people.
The deaths have prompted criticism for the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) which governs in the southern province of Sindh where part of the desert is located.
