Germany has announced a grant of more than one million Euros as part of its contributions to support the relief activities of the World Food Program (WFP) for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the north-west of Pakistan through a “twinning-project”.
The German grant of more than Rs 129,000,000 will be combined with an in-kind-grant of the Government of Pakistan with a donation of 6,863metric tons wheat. This will enable WFP to provide fortified wheat flour to 510,000 beneficiaries, a total of 85,789 families, for one month in FATA region and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
