At least five people including three children were killed and three others injured in head-on collision between two over speeding vehicles here on Monday.
Police said that accident took place at Super Highway near Sohrab Goth area of Karachi where a private car collided with passenger bus coming from opposite direction.
As a result of collision five persons including three children and a woman died on the spot while three others sustained wounds.
The bus driver responsible for the accident managed to escape from the scene after the incident.
The injured were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where their condition was also stated to be critical.
Eye witnesses said that accident took place due to over speeding and reckless driving of bus driver.
Police have taken vehicles into custody and registering a case against the bus driver started raids for his arrest.
