No one would be allowed to close business activities: Punjab CM

In the backdrop of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s rally in Faisalabad today, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that every possible step will be taken for the protection of life and property of the people as maintenance of peace is the foremost duty of the government and it will fulfil its responsibility at every cost.

The chief minister said that no one is above the law and implementation of law will be ensured at all costs for protecting life and property of the people. He said that under the garb of protest, no one would be allowed to take law in his hand or forcibly stop business activities.

All necessary measures will be taken for providing protection to traders’ community and strict action will be taken against those taking law into their hand, he added.
