Ban on YouTube

I wanted to stir up the topic of lifting YouTube’s ban in our country. YouTube has always been an important source of videos and since it has been banned we have lost a good resource to work on our projects. Why would the government stop us from viewing ordinary videos which are commonly consumed by people around the globe?

We all know there are other ways of accessing YouTube. Pakistan has some of the best software engineers, making everything easy at the go of a single touch.

Why can’t the PTA uplift the ban? There will always be a risk of blasphemous content finding its way to such a site but we can’t exactly impose our rules and laws on other countries. About time our telecommunication authorities took notice of this issue.
