A policeman deployed for the security of polio teams on Saturday committed suicide over unknown reasons.
According to police, a gunshot was heard early morning in Constable Abdul Waheed’s room. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital but could not survive. Doctors said the deceased had shot himself in the face and died due to excessive bleeding.
A few days ago SHO Sajid Habib of Satellite Town Police Station had committed suicide after attending a meeting regarding anti-polio campaign.
