12 terrorists nabbed from capital

The law enforcement agencies arrested 12 terrorists in an operation in the capital on Saturday.

According to intelligence sources, the search operation was launched in Islamabad’s areas of Shehzad Town and Koral. It is said that the suspected terrorists included an Afghan national. Others belong to Balochistan’s Loralai and Bajaur tribal agency.

Hand grenades, detonators, explosives and maps of the federal capital were recovered during the operation.

A terrorist identified as Mukammal Khan who was arrested from Farash Town of Islamabad is said to be a member of Al-Qaeda and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
