A three-day anti polio campaign has been started once again in 11 sensitive union councils of Karachi while the campaign has been suspended in UC-4 of Goddap Town, Rerhi Goth, Landhi and Bin Qasim town for lack of security arrangements.
During the campaign, polio drops will be administered to 2,72,745 children while 10,000 children were omitted during the previous drive being non present in their homes and refusal from their parents.
Decision for launching an anti-polio campaign in 11 sensitive union councils afresh was taken in a meeting held under Commissioner Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui.
