26 outlaws including two POs arrested

The Islamabad Police have arrested 26 outlaws including two proclaimed offender from various areas of the city and recovered 930 grams of heroine, 48 liquor bottles, two 30-bore pistols and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.

According to details, Aabpara Police arrested bootleggers Sohail Shehzad and recovered 48 liquor bottles from him. Secretariat Police seized one digger from the possession of arrested accused Mamoor Shah. Golra Police arrested a drug pusher ajmal and recovered 530 gram heroine from him.

CIA Police arrested three accused namely Muhammad Yousaf, Muhammad Asim and Sajjad and recovered 400 gram heroine and one 30-bore illicit pistols from their possession.

Industrial Area police arrested a fake cop namely Insar. Sabzi Mandi Police arrested three accused Zakat, Farhad and Sheraz involved in illegally cylinder gas filling. Nilor police recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol from the possession of arrested accused Ansar Mehmood. Koral Police arrested two proclaimed offender.

Furthermore, Bhara Kahu and Shalimar police arrested 11 professional beggars. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
