Police took hold of several hundred kilograms of donkey meat on Wednesday which was being sold to consumers in Khushab, private media reported.
According to the details, several donkeys were being slaughtered when police team raided the place.
However, the culprits managed to flee following the raid.
The meat of donkeys is prohibited (haram) in Islam. It has been reported that the foul activity is going around the area due to lack of government check.
