Sindh Zakat secy’s son freed without ransom

Hassan Mustafa Phul, the son of Zakat and Ushr provisional secretary was released by kidnappers on Monday with the joint efforts of Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), Sindh police and Rangers.

Hassan was kidnapped on September 11 from Jamshoro. Immediately after the incident, a CPLC team jointly started working on the case in collaboration with Sindh police, especially Hyderabad Police, and 72 wing Rangers.

The joint action team conducted extensive raids and managed to arrest some suspects. Recently, through the joint efforts of CPLC, Jamshoro SSP and Jamshoro SP, a few more suspects were arrested from Kandhkot, Tando Muhammad Yar, Lakki Shah, Saddar, Jamshoro and Kotri.

Eventually, the kidnappers had to give in to the pressure and release Hassan without receiving any ransom.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah have congratulated the whole team of CPLC, Sindh police and Rangers.

CPLC, Sindh police and Rangers are still conducting raids to bust the whole gang.
