Awami Jamhoori Ittehad Pakistan (AJIP), a coalition partner of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, has complained of mistreatment by the majority party.

An AJIP spokesman said hundreds of AJIP workers regularly attend the PTI’s ongoing sit-in in Islamabad and its public meetings but “PTI does not give due attention and importance to AJIP”.

He said that AJIP member Shehram Khan Taraki – a senior minister in the KP cabinet was also unhappy over the treatment meted out to him and his party by the PTI leadership and the provincial government.
