The police have arrested nine outlaws and professional alms-seekers from various areas of city and seized 1.20 kilogrammes of hashish, five 30-bore pistols and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
According to details, Koral Police arrested drug pusher namely Sajjad and seized 1.20 kilogrammes of hashish from him.
Shehzad Town Police arrested a thief, Shahbaz and recovered parts of stolen bike from him.
The CIA Police arrested two accused, Azhar and Irfan, for having two 30-bore pistols while another accused Iftikhar was held by Bhara Kahu Police for possessing a 30-bore pistol.
Sabzi Mandi and Loi Bher Police nabbed Bhadar Khan and Imtaiz in possession of 30-bore pistol each. While two thieves identified as Boota Masih and Mohsan were nabbed by Sihala Police.
Furthermore, Industrial Area and Margalla Police arrested five professional beggars.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigations are underway.
