KARACHI-

Altaf Hussain; chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), has demanded an explanation from Pakistan People’s Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zadari over his statement calling Hussain to rein in his ‘namaloom afraad’ (unidetified men) in a speech on October 6.

According to the MQM official website, the MQM chief has demanded of the former president Asif Ali Zardari, former interior minister Rehman Malik, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan and law enforcing authorities to investigate the PPP chairperson’s statement and respond to his query within 15 days or face a legal action.

Bilawal had called upon Hussain in a speech on October 6 to control his ‘unidentified men’ and not hurt PPP workers or else, he added, he would make the MQM chief’s life miserable.

Hussain, in his statement, has asked where or when the PPP workers were harmed and on what basis Bilawal threatened him.

The MQM chief has further added that if the addressed parties fail to respond to his query, he would be taking a legal action against Bilawal for using treatening language against him.
