Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) would be available in Pakistan next year and the government will ensure complete support to textile industries, said Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif while talking to a delegation belonging to textile industries that called on him on Friday.
Shahbaz said that measures were being taken for gas supply to the textile industries of the province, adding that they were putting every possible effort to meet the minimum requirements of gas in winter.
Short, mid-term and long-term measures were being taken to counter energy crisis, he assured.
The chief minister informed that the prime minister has ordered to build a pipeline for LNG supply to Punjab.
Referring to the sit-in organisers, he said they had caused irrevocable damage to the economy in addition to delaying power projects.
