ISLAMABAD
Member National Assembly Aijaz Chaudhary on Saturday formally announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) handed over his resignation as MNA to the PTI Chief Imran Khan.
Speaking at a press conference , Chaudhry said that he decided to join PTI in the best interest of the people of Mandi Bahauddin from where he was elected as an independent candidate.
He was elected from NA-108 Mandi Bahauddin constituency in the May 2013 general election and had joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)
He will be joining the PTI chief at the public rally scheduled on Sunday in the federal capital.
Meanwhile, PML-N leadeer and Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal claimed that Chaudhary resigned from the party to avoid likely embarrastment as a court verdict against him in a fake degree case is soon expected.
