Rawalpindi Health Department has sought about 800 employees from all government departments including education in connection with the anti-polio campaign.
As many as 2,075 teams are being set up to administer polio drops to the children during the campaign scheduled for Rawalpindi between December 8 and 12. As many as 1,696 among them will be mobile teams, 111 teams will be deployed on entry points, 268 in hospitals and bus stands while 230 UC officers and 330 areas in-charges will monitor these teams.
During the upcoming polio campaign, more than 740,000 children will be administered polio drops in Rawalpindi.
