The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is considering turning Karachi Company market located in Sector G-9 into model market of federal capital.
Karachi Company is the busiest trade hub of Islamabad. CDA has sought proposals from central traders union of sector G-9 Markaz in this regard. Any decision is likely to be taken on this matter in next week.
Sources said a representative delegation of traders association G-9 Markaz met deputy CDA Enforcement DG a day before and exchanged views with her on operation against encroachments in the market.
The Enforcement deputy DG told the delegation during the meeting that a strategy has been evolved to turn Karachi company market in to model market of federal capital.
