Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique Friday dubbed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan a “fraudster” and said that Khan’s accusatory statements against the government were tantamount to “the pot calling the kettle black”.
Saad dismissed Khan’s allegations that the 2013 General Elections were rigged by printing 5.5 million extra ballot papers and that more than 124,000 extra ballots were printed for Saad’s constituency only.
“Khan’s allegations are nothing more than a pack of lies,” said the minister.
“The PTI chief is out of his mind. He himself reposed trust in the Election Commission of Pakistan ahead of the 2013 polls but now he is moaning about the role of Returning Officers (ROs) in alleged vote rigging,” said Saad.
