Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government is committed to taking the country out of the problems it is facing.
Talking to members of the National Assembly and Punjab Assembly in Lahore, the CM said that the “public has given mandate to PML-N to form the government” and vowed that the government would come up to the expectations of the people.
“Politics of disruption and confrontation have adversely affected the country’s reputation,” said Shahbaz and asked the politicians “who are doing disruptive politics” to review their “negative attitudes”.
The public has rejected the politics of sit-ins, he said.
He directed the elected public representatives to serve the public diligently.
During the meeting, the elected public representatives apprised the CM with the progress of ongoing development projects and social welfare programs.
