District Coordination Officer (DCO) Gujranwala on Friday has issued directives to arrest 93 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers before they leave for Islamabad to attend the November 30 rally, private media reported.
According to the details, a notification was issued by DCO Azmat Mahmood to direct City Police Officer Waqas Nazeer to arrest PTI supporters for ‘security reasons’.
The notification also enlists the names of 93 active PTI workers.
Furthermore, PTI’s district vice president Qasim Akram Warriach also claimed to have received a threatening phone call from a police officer to arrest him if he uses his vehicle.
