ISLAMABAD-

Federal Information minister Pervaiz Rashid on Thursday advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to refrain from ‘personal attacks and character assassination’. He asserted that Khan even decried former chief justice and journalists.

While criticizing the elites of PTI the minister added, “Khan claims that his party is of a common man but a man who sells electricity to government stands by his one side and on the other side there is a custodian of shrine who receives nazrana (offerings/gifts).”

Rashid  also welcomed Khan’s appearance before a tribunal probing into the case of  vote rigging allegations and  called it a sign of ‘positive change’ in Khan’s attitude.

He also advised khan to choose ‘democratic path’ for the acceptance of his demands.

“Instead of finding the solution through undemocratic means, Imran Khan must come to the democratic path. He must sit in the Parliament and come up with suggestions for the government in connection with his demands,” he said .

Rashid declared that Khan  should legally pursue the matter of vote rigging. “We will reply to Khan’s claims and courts will decide in this regard but for that he should appear before courts”, he said.

Refusing the allegations of PML-N‘s support for VIP culture he said,“whereas PML-N gave opportunity to a commoner… Mushahid Ullah is still living in a rent-house. Me and Raja Zafar-ul-Haq belong to the middleclass.”

PTI has announced to hold a rally on Nov 30 in Islamabad. PTI chief has maintained to make new revelations regarding vote rigging in the elections next Sunday.
