RAC arranges Mehfil-e-Sur Sazinda

Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) arranged Mehfil-e-Sur Sazinda in which renowned Sarangi Nawaz Israr Nabi Bux performed on Thursday.

Senator Najma Hameed accompanied by RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed was guest of honour at the occasion.

Bux is the son pride of performance internationally fame Sarangi Nawaz Ustad Nabi Bux. Israr Nabi Bux received this art from father in his very young age. He performed nationally and internationally and received lots of awards. Israr Nabi Bux is not only playing sarangi but also making the organ for its survival.

Bux started playing sarangi with Raag Aheer in teen tal followed by folks songs “Khari Deindi an Sanhere”, “Yar langh a ja”, “Lathe di chadar” and many more which caused thunder applaud.

Senator Najma Hameed addressing at the occasion said that Israr Nabi Bux is the precious asset of Pakistan who represented the country’s positive image worldwide. She said that credit goes to Rawalpindi Arts Council for organizing such a wonderful event.

RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed said that Bux came here to perform on the request which is great honour for the council. He said that RAC would continue its role for the survival of classical music, musical instruments and culture.
