Addressing the passing out parade of ASP officers in the capital on Thursday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the police have an important role to deal with the challenges faced by the country including terrorism.
Appreciating the sacrifices rendered by the security personnel for the sake of the country, the minister expressed confidence that the police department will continue to work devotedly to rid the country of terrorism and ensure peace and security.
The minister said that the police personnel are the protectors of the nation and they will have to develop better and close coordination with the public to deal with the security issues.
