The country’s liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $ 13.219 billion during the week that ended on November 21, reported the central bank Thursday.
This shows an increase of $ 12 million as the State Bank counted its dollar reserves at $ 8.506 billion compared to $ 8.494 billion the regulator held a well earlier.
The reserves of the commercial banks were recorded at $ 4.713 billion. During the week, the SBP said to have repaid $ 195 million to the country’s external debtors as well making other official payments. The dollars paid include $141 million repaid to the IMF. The week saw SBP receiving $ 58 million from multilateral, bilateral and other sources.
