An anti-terrorism court (ATC) issued non-bailable warrants for Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and five other party leaders and declared them proclaimed offenders on Tuesday while hearing a petition filed against them. The Faisal Town police had lodged a case against seven nominated persons, including general secretary Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and Sheikh Fayyaz and CSO Altaf Shah, eight unidentified gunmen and hundreds of unidentified workers accusing them of attacking policemen during the Model Town clash between police and PAT activists on June 17 which had claimed the lives of at least 14 persons.
