Small Industries Aabpara president directed to approach district administration in connection with his concerns on PTI’s public meeting on 30th
Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the petitioner to approach district administration Islamabad and deputy commissioner in connection with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) November 30 public meeting and if his concerns are not addressed then he should resort to high court.
A petition filed by Small Industries Aabpara Market Islamabad President Raja Kamran Abbasi against holding of public meeting by PTI on November, 30 at Islamabad came up for hearing before IHC Tuesday.
Sardar Rashid Mehmood Khan, counsel for petitioner, appeared in the court and took the plea that PTI is continuing its dharna in front of Parliament and now it has given a countrywide call for holding a large public meeting again.
He told the court the dharnas sponsored by PTI and PAT have already caused irreparable loss to the traders of federal capital and now PTI is holding a larger public meeting. This public meeting will not only inflict heavy loss on the traders but it can also give rise to security problems. The court is therefore, requested to stop PTI from holding public meeting, he prayed.
The judge directed the petitioner to contact district administration of Islamabad as it is job of district administration and government to look into security related matters and accord permission for holding public meeting. If the reservations of the petitioner are not addressed therein then the high court be approached.
