Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Jahangir Tareen on Monday asked Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid to apologise for making false accusations or else he would file a defamation suit against him.

Addressing a press conference at Multan Press Club, Tareen said the government is confused because of the pressure piled on it by the PTI protests and is now resorting to politics of accusations.

He clarified that Rs 52.8 million was spent over the mechanical work of the plane that was utilized for the past one year by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Rs 48 million out which was spent from his own pocket and so it benefited the company.

He also stated that he holds majority shares of JWD company and that his sugar mill is not a defaulter.

He accused Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership of flying planes using public resources and insisted that they should also be held accounted for.
