CM orders reopening of 4,000 closed schools

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of education department and directed to reopen the closed schools of the province.

Shah was chairing a meeting of the education department held on Monday where he was given briefing over progress of the department. During the meeting, Qaim Ali Shah said the progress report of the education department was unsatisfactory.

The chief minister ordered reopening of over 4,000 closed schools in the province. Shah directed the authorities to take action against ghost teachers and present him a detailed report in this regard. He also ordered to replace ghost teachers with competent and honest teachers.
