During the meeting, General Sharif vowed to provide full assistance of the Pakistan Army in America’s war against terrorism.

Bajwa said that during the meeting, the army chief stressed upon bilateral cooperation and harmony between US and Pakistan in the context of regional circumstances.

The ISPR DG said that issues pertaining to border site including Indian violation of Line of Control (LoC) were also discussed.

Speaking from Washington, the ISPR DG reportedly said that Pakistan has done quite a lot to combat terrorism already and would continue to do so for its own benefit.

He reportedly said that the Pakistan Army aspires to wipe out terrorist entities from the country forever and declared Operation Zarb-e-Azb a success against militants.
