Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited US military’s National Training Center at Fort Irvin California on Friday, according to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)
The COAS reviewed the US military training system and appreciated it, it added.
General Raheel Sharif, who is currently on official visit to USA, was conferred with US Legion of Merit Medal a few days earlier for brave leadership, sagacity, vision, efforts for peace and stability in the region.
There, he categorically stated that the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation targets all militants without any discrimination and that it is aimed at defeating the menace of terrorism squarely.
“I would like to openly say that this (operation) is against all hues and colors, and it is without any discrimination, whether it is Haqqani network or TTP or anything,” he said
