ISLAMABAD-
Federal Minister Zahid Hamid has resigned from his position of Federal Minister for Science and Technology on Friday, a private news channel reported.
The resignation comes as result of the inclusion of minister’s name in the treason case.
Accepting the plea of General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, a special court directed the government to include Hamid’ s name in the charge sheet.
The Prime Minister House has confirmed that the resignation of the federal minister has been received.
