Brig (r) Tariq Saddozai has been appointed as the NEPRA chairman for five years. This appointment has been made on the basis of his vast experience in power sector.
He achieved the targets assigned to him as CEO Pesco. Prior to being Pesco CEO, he has performed as MD Karachi Electric Supply Company. As CEO Pesco Brig (r)Tariq Saddozai performed tremendous job and brought line losses from 39 per cent to 33 per cent. He did well to reduce line losses and enhanced recovery.
He brought the KESC out of the financial crunch to a great extent in addition to reduction in line losses. He earned his degree in engineering from NED Engineering University Karachi and Masters in Strategic Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
When there are more qualified engineers in Electrical Power, who have Masters and PHD in Power Distribution, than why this choice?
