One more infant died of malnutrition in drought-hit Tharparkar district on Friday, bringing the death toll to 112 in 52 days.
Officials said that around 520 children have lost their lives across the famine-affected region over the past 11 months, with more than 300 under treatment in various government-run hospitals.
The Sindh government has claimed to have installed over 80 RO plants to turn brackish water into potable water; however, the project has failed to benefit the local people.
