Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the inspector general of police to appoint a senior police officer, in consultation with mother of Suleman Lashari, to investigate into the murder case.
Refuting the allegation of Mrs Erum Naz, mother of Suleman Lashari, levelled in a press conference held in the Karachi Press Club on Thursday, Shah said: “I have nothing to do with the investigation.”
It may be recalled that Suleman Lashari was gunned down by another teenage boy on May 8. Since then, both the parties, applicant and defendant, are in litigation.
The chief minister has directed Inspector General of Police Ghulam Haider Jamali to talk to the mother of Suleman Lashari, Mrs Erum Naz, and appoint an investigation officer in consultation with her.
