Capital cops nab 13 outlaws

Islamabad police have arrested 13 outlaws including four beggars, from various areas of the city and recovered three stolen motorbikes, a CNG cylinder, 12 wine bottles and three illegal pistols from their possession, a police spokesman reportedly said on Friday.

According to details, Ramana police arrested three motorbike-lifters namely Amir Shahzad, Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Ilyas and recovered two stolen motorbikes and a CNG cylinder from their possession. Aabpara police arrested two motorbike-lifters namely Muhammad Aftab and Muhammad Ali red-handed and recovered a stolen motorbike from their possession. Bhara Kahu police arrested bootlegger Azmat Masih and recovered 12 wine bottles from him.

Maragalla police arrested two accused Muhammad Taqi and Awais Khan and recovered two pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Sihala police recovered one 30-bore illegal pistol from a nabbed person. Furthermore, Golra police stations police arrested four beggars.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad Asmatullah Junejo has appreciated the overall performance of the police and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
