LAHORE-
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahiurl Qadri returned to Pakistan on Thursday, private media reported.
According to details, Qadri’s flight landed at the Allama Iqbal International Airport where a large number of PAT workers welcomed their leader.
On August 14, Qadri had led a long march from Lahore to Islamabad and camped in near the Red Zone for around two months, demanding resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He called off the sit-in on October 21, announcing to spread his movement across the country.
A few days later, he left for a foreign trip, stirring up speculations about an underhand deal with the government. Qadri has strongly rebuked the rumours.
