It has been revealed that ACRs of 15 senior officials of Law and Justice Commission of the Supreme Court have been missing since 2006.
Sources said that ACRs of senior officials have been concealed during the era of former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry when Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqeer Hussain had additional charge of Law and Justice Commission secretary. It was done to prevent promotions of employees and to maintain monopoly over the employees from grade 4 to 15, it has been claimed.
The officials, whose files are missing, include Deputy Secretary Rana Faisal, Deputy Secretary Sheikh Manzoor, Muhammad Tanvir, Qasim Minhas, Syed Nasir Ali Shah and Deputy Secretary Abdul Nabi.
Sources further revealed that high officials of that time were involved in the case.
Sources said these employees made efforts to contact Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk but they failed to do so. The promotions of these employees are still standstill due to missing of ACRs.
Dr Faqeer Hussain was not available for comments.
