‘Come clear and you’ll be regularised’

Minister of State of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Barrister Usman Ibrahim Monday said employees who were eligible and cleared all the stages would be regularised accordingly.

Chairing a high level meeting regarding the issue of daily wagers’ regularisation there is set procedure/criteria to regularise daily wagers starting from the approval of the CADD to approval of Establishment and Cabinet and then a final stage of medical examination.

The state minister met the representative of teachers (daily wagers) namely Riffat Sulatana (INSG G6/1), Ambreen Shahid (IMCG Bara Koh), Abdul Sattar (IMCB F7/3), and Naima (IMCG) and informed them about the Islamabad High Court decision on the process of regularization.

He apprised that it has already been mentioned that Islamabad high court has ordered to convene a committee comprising of Establishment and Cabinet secretaries to resolve the issue of the regularisation of daily wagers.

“We have done what we could do to address the grievances of the daily wagers, salary issue of the daily wagers has already been resolved, moreover the regularisation issue would be resolved accordingly,” said the minister.

The state minister again asked the Establishment secretary to expedite the process and has assured the daily wagers that he would pursue this case himself.

The meeting was attended by CADD additional secretary, joint Secretary and the representatives of the daily wagers.
