Pakistan Air Force Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt met Qatar Defence Minister Major General Hamad Bin Ali Al Attiyah on Sunday in Doha.
According to a PAF press release, both the dignitaries remained together for some time and discussed in cordial atmosphere the respective regional security issues and plausible solution.
There existed the unanimity to resolve the pertinent issues. The coherence in approach for resolving the issues with mutual cooperation was appreciated by both sides. Brotherly relations with Qatar have yielded the cooperation in training and operations of both the air forces.
The ongoing operations against miscreants were also discussed at length during the meeting.
Earlier, the air chief met Chinese Defence Minister Chang Wanquan. Both the dignitaries remained together and expressed their satisfaction on the current level of cooperation between both the defence forces in general and air forces in particular. He offered collaboration in various bilateral developmental programs. This visit bears for recalling effects on the long lasting relations of two neighbouring friends.
