A three-month-old dead body of a man was recovered from the property of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab Assembly Member (MPA) Saiful Malook Khokhar on Friday.
According to police sources, the deceased was identified as Kamran, whose body was found from the PML-N leader’s property located on Multan Road.
The police sources further said the body was discovered on identification by two accused Riaz and Javed during interrogations.
The police said Kamran, a resident of Sheikhupura, went missing three months ago after he picked up a row over a bargain with Iqbal Town Police Station constable Azam.
Police arrested Riaz and Javed on suspicion. During interrogation, the two accused revealed the murder plot and also led to them to the body of the deceased. They said that the body was hidden under a flower bed on the roof-top of Khokhar’s Dera.
According to police, Riaz takes care of the MPA’s property.
