ISLAMABAD-
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that the matter of North Waziristan’s internally displaced persons (IDPs) is not the subject matter of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa’s government, a private media channel reported.
Speaking to media at his Bani Gala residence, Khan said that FATA is a federally administered area and so the issue must be taken care of by the federal government.
He said that 3 million IDPs have so far been dislodged.
When inquired about PML-N MNA Marvi Memon’s sit-in against the arrest of IDPs, Khan said that Marvi should ask from federal government its strategy to handle the issue of IDPs rather than staging the ‘drama’ of sit-in.
Khan reiterated to quit politics if federal government succeeds in presenting the evidence of his involvement in the attack on Pakistan Television (PTV) building.
“Not even a single accused was arrested in Model Town tragedy case,” he added.
