22 arrested for ‘immoral activities’

Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) and Islamabad Shalimar Police has arrested 22 people for their alleged involvement in immoral activities during a raid at house no 118 St, 49 Sector F-11-3 and flat No B-1, 104 Abu Dhabi Tower, a police spokesman said Saturday.

According to details, Islamabad SSP Asmat Ullah Junejo categorically asked all police officials for strict action against those involved in drug peddling, bootlegging and immoral activities besides vigilance at guest house involved in anti-social acts.

Following his directions, strict policing measures are being ensured in the city against such criminals. On a tip off on Saturday regarding immoral activities at house no 118 St, 49 Sector F-11-3 Islamabad , a special team was constituted by CIA DSP Fida Satti to raid there after getting search warrant.

Police team headed by CIA in-charge including ASI Haider Ali and others succeeded to arrest six people involved in immoral activities and recovered 10 liquor bottles from their possession.

On a tip off Saturday regarding immoral activities at flat No B-1,104 Abu Dhabi Tower, a special team was constituted by ASP Margalla to raid there after getting search warrant.

Police team headed by SHO Shalimar ASI Amanullah and others succeeded to arrest 16 people involved in immoral activities and recovered a liquor bottles from their possession.
