Islamabad Police have arrested 12 outlaws including five dacoits from various areas of the city and recovered stolen bikes, weapons, more than one kilogrammes of hashish, 10 bottles of wine and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.

According to details, Sabzi Mandi Police Station SHO Asjad Mehmud along with police team raided the hideout of dacoits near CTTI College and arrested five people besides recovery of weapons from them. Those arrested were identified as Abid Khan, Nasir Khan, Usman, Salahuddin and Kamil. Further investigations are underway.

Meanwhile, Shalimar Police arrested drug peddler Riaz and recovered 1.03 kilogrammes of hashish from him while a 30 bore pistol was recovered from Shahid Nawaz by Golra Police.

Sabzi Mandi Police nabbed a thief, Jehangir, and recovered stolen items worth Rs70,000 from him while a 30 bore pistol was recovered from Kher Khan by Shehzad Town Police. Koral Police arrested Haider Ali Shah and recovered motorbikes from him while Loi Bher Police recovered ten wine bottles from Ibrar.
