PESHAWAR-
A clash between Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and law enforcement agencies left 13 people injured in Bannu on Thursday, private media reported.
The clash occurred during food distribution at Bannu Sports Complex when security personnel tried to control an unruly mob.
Nine policemen and four IDPs were injured in the clash, police sources stated.
In order to control the riot, police also baton-charged the protestors who were pelting stones at them. The protesting IDPs also torched the kiosk that were set up for the facilitation center.
The visit of international donors was postponed due to the clash.
