Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri was declared a proclaimed offender by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday, in a case pertaining to riots on Lahore-Islamabad motorway, a private news channel reported.
The court ordered police authorities to issue proclamation and displaying of advertisement notices on public places.
The case hearing against Dr. Qadri and 110 other accused has been adjourned till Nov 27.
One day earlier, Islamabad’s Special Anti-Terrorism Court issued warrants of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan and Dr. Qadrii, accusing them for provoking violence during anti-government protests.
