Tehmina Durrani, spouse of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has called on the entire political leadership, including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and her husband, to give up their lavish lifestyles and return the money spent on their grand houses, factories and assets to the people of Pakistan.
In an interview to ARY News channel in London, Tehmina Durrani, who was previously married to former Punjab governor Ghulam Mustafa Khar and is the author of the bestseller ‘My Feudal Lord’, said that she was making this demand publicly as “a representative of the silent majority of Pakistani people”.
Moreover, the acclaimed author announced that she had decided to return to Pakistan as she was handing over her former husband’s home to her children.
“I’ve asked my husband Shahbaz Sharif to buy me a 10-marla house in Lahore where I can settle permanently,” she said.
